With competitors moving in on their market share, the world’s largest integrated provider of products and services for individuals undergoing dialysis needed an engaging new way to herald the Asia-Pacific launch of its innovative new dialysis machine at an annual specialist conference in Perth, WA.
Inspired by the futuristic aesthetic of the machine and the advancements in renal care technology surrounding its inception, Bastion Brands’ digital specialists designed an interactive tablet application featuring augmented reality that allowed attendees to take a virtual tour of the device, and explore its features and benefits from top to bottom, inside and out.
With an unprecedented engagement or ‘screen time’ averaging 6 minutes per attendee, our client agreed the app hit the coveted sweet spot between education and entertainment, ensuring it remained front-of-mind long after the conference came to a close. In fact, the app was such a hit, we’re currently working on a second version adapted for our client’s on-the-road sales team. Watch this space.
